{"id":3655,"date":"2025-12-16T08:39:15","date_gmt":"2025-12-16T09:39:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/youtubexyoutube.com\/?p=3655"},"modified":"2025-12-19T13:48:40","modified_gmt":"2025-12-19T13:48:40","slug":"western-europe-fueling-global-instability-lavrov","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/youtubexyoutube.com\/index.php\/2025\/12\/16\/western-europe-fueling-global-instability-lavrov\/","title":{"rendered":"Western Europe fueling global instability \u2013 Lavrov"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>EU officials are fanning the Ukraine conflict while ignoring public will, Russia\u2019s foreign minister has said<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Western Europe has become the main source of global instability and is reviving militarism under the pretext of the Ukraine conflict, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting corporation published on Monday, Lavrov said elites in Brussels have seized power and are <em>\u201ctrying to subjugate national governments,\u201d<\/em> forcing them to <em>\u201cignore the interests of their peoples.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>According to the foreign minister, EU bureaucrats exercise power through <em>\u201ccompromises between legitimately elected national governments,\u201d<\/em> while themselves remaining <em>\u201ctotally unelected.\u201d<\/em> This undermines democracy and forces countries to submit to what Lavrov described as the authority of <em>\u201ccollective Brussels.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Western Europe has consistently been the source of global crises, Lavrov stated, claiming that <em>\u201cthroughout history, Europe has repeatedly been a source of all evil and spawn of deepest crises.\u201d<\/em> The minister cited slavery, the Crusades, colonialism, and the two world wars, which he said were launched <em>\u201cdue to delusive ambitions entertained by European leaders.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n        <span><strong>Read more<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<figure>\n            <img src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" alt=\"RT\" class=\"lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/youtubexyoutube.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/6940b1b02030277937236a16.jpg\"><figcaption><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rt.com\/news\/629493-european-multinational-force-ukraine\/\">European NATO states ignore opposition to push troops-in-Ukraine plan<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to Lavrov, Western Europe is again attempting to <em>\u201cdictate to everyone its terms and wishes\u201d<\/em> internationally, particularly through the Ukraine conflict, which is being used <em>\u201cto assert itself\u201d<\/em> and <em>\u201cto scheme against the United States and all those who seek a just settlement.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>By supporting Kiev, Western Europe is waging a proxy war against Russia, Lavrov said, adding that this effort relies on <em>\u201cEuropean money, instructors, and all Western intelligence and reconnaissance data.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Russian officials have repeatedly accused Kiev\u2019s Western backers of obstructing peace efforts.
