Six of them died at the scene,\u201d<\/em> Sokolov wrote on Telegram.<\/p>\n<p>Kirov\u00a0is nearly 900 km from Moscow and is around 1,350\u00a0km from the Ukrainian border.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The governor expressed condolences to the victims\u2019 families and said the regional government would provide them with support. Nearby residential buildings are being inspected for possible damage, after which the authorities will decide what assistance should be provided to residents.<\/p>\n<p>The strike came amid yet another large-scale Ukrainian attack on Russian territory. The Russian Defense Ministry said air defenses had destroyed 571 drones overnight over several regions and the Azov and Black seas.<\/p>\n<p>Separate attacks were reported on logistics facilities in Leningrad and Tver Regions. A drone strike also sparked a fire at a warehouse of online retailer Wildberries near St. Petersburg, while another blaze broke out at a logistics center in Tver Region.
