The attacks hit Flamingo missile as well as drone and radio-electronic plants in the Ukrainian capital, officials have said<\/strong><\/p>\n Russian forces hit five military-industrial facilities and a logistics hub in Kiev and its suburbs during a barrage overnight from Friday to Saturday, the Defense Ministry in Moscow has said. Two ships carrying military cargo off Odessa the day before were also hit, it added. <\/p>\n In a statement on Saturday, the ministry said that the strikes, which involved precision air, sea and ground-based weapons, targeted the Kiev-based enterprise Radioizmeritel, which it said was supplying electronic components for Neptun-MD, Grom-2, and FP-7\/FP-9 missiles and was involved in developing navigation systems for long-range drones.<\/p>\n Other targets included the Burevestnik plant, said to build electronics for long- and medium-range drones and radar equipment, and a Fire Point facility producing parts and warheads for FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles, along with chemicals for solid-fuel boosters.<\/p>\n
