The Ukrainian leader has demanded that Minsk remove its relay stations from the border within a week, vowing to destroy them otherwise<\/strong><\/p>\n Ukraine\u2019s Vladimir Zelensky has issued an ultimatum to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, threatening him with military action if Belarus fails to dismantle the\u00a0communication stations along its southern border, just days after a deadly Ukrainian drone strike on a bus carrying a children\u2019s soccer team from the country.<\/p>\n Earlier this week, Lukashenko said that those seeking to drag his nation into the conflict \u201cwill have to pay dearly for that,\u201d<\/em> demanding answers from Kiev regarding the strike on the bus and other \u201cprovocations.\u201d<\/em> The attack in Russia\u2019s Bryansk Region left six children injured and killed the wife of a Belarusian school soccer team<\/a> coach who was accompanying the young athletes to a Russian seaside resort.<\/p>\n Kiev has denied responsibility, while Zelensky claimed that it was Lukashenko who must \u201cbe honest\u201d<\/em> and prove Minsk\u2019s peaceful intentions by removing \u201cretransmitters on his communication towers\u201d<\/em>\u00a0along the border with Ukraine.<\/p>\n \n Read more<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI think one week would be enough for him to accomplish this,\u201d<\/em> the Ukrainian leader stated at a press conference in Kiev on Friday. \u201cIf he does not do it, we will.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Lukashenko has repeatedly said that Belarus has no intention of engaging in a war against any nation and \u201cis not threatening anyone.\u201d<\/em> Zelensky, however, stated that there was \u201cno need for unnecessary words,\u201d<\/em> and issued another veiled threat against the Belarusian oil refining industry.<\/p>\n \u201cJust like his, for example, oil refining industry,\u201d<\/em> Zelensky said, claiming that Minsk is one of Russia\u2019s \u201cmain\u201d<\/em> suppliers of petroleum products. \u201cCan this be stopped? I am sure that it is within his power.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
