Europe\u2019s largest nuclear power plant was hit by drones at least twice this week alone, Rosatom CEO Aleksey Likhachev has said<\/strong><\/p>\n The Ukrainian military repeatedly attacked Russia\u2019s Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) this week, injuring two employees and targeting a pipeline in the immediate vicinity of the reactors, Aleksey Likhachev, CEO of the Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom, has said.<\/p>\n Speaking to the company\u2019s corporate newspaper Strana Rosatom on Saturday, Likhachev said that a Ukrainian drone had attacked the pipeline running along the power units of the plant earlier in the day. The UAV did not detonate, crashing near the first power unit of the facility.<\/p>\n On Thursday, a Ukrainian kamikaze drone targeted a car carrying two employees of the ZNPP. The attack occurred just 100 meters away from the plant\u2019s premises, with both employees receiving moderate to serious wounds, the Rosatom boss said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
